The 2025 American Music Awards, celebrating the past year in music, honored some of the biggest stars in music on Monday night in Las Vegas. The ceremony, which is the largest fan-voted award show, was hosted by Jennifer Lopez, who also performed the opening dance number. Janet Jackson also gave a performance before receiving the Icon Award, given to “an artist whose music has had undeniable cultural and global influence over the music industry,” according to the AMAs.
