While the United States has formally pardoned the victims of the Salem witch trials, Britain has yet to do the same for hundreds, possibly thousands, of women executed centuries ago under its own witchcraft laws. In Maidstone, in the south east of England, a local authority is calling for a national pardon to right a historic wrong. CNN’s James Frater travelled to the town to meet the campaigners behind the push for justice.
