The presence of acoustic tiles, which can be seen on the ceiling in photos, may have contributed to the spread of the fire, according to an independent fire consultant.
• Owners interviewed: The two French owners of the bar have been interviewed by police. Investigators are examining whether the bar complied with fire regulations and looking at access to fire escapes and fire extinguishers as well as the number of people present at the bar
