• Trump’s agenda bill: A marathon voting session on President Donald Trump’s sweeping domestic policy bill has stretched into the morning after a weekend of negotiations and delays. Lawmakers continue to offer changes to Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” before a final vote.

• Senate leader signals progress: Senate Majority Leader John Thune indicated that the Senate’s marathon voting series could wrap at some point sooner rather than later, telling reporters, “we’re close.” But with no final vote yet scheduled, it’s unclear how long the process will take.

• Trump’s deadline: While the president is pressuring his party to pass the sweeping tax cuts and spending package in time for him to sign it by July 4, he suggested this morning he’s open to pushing back the deadline.
